UCF researchers identify features that could make someone a virus super-spreader
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Kinzel and collaborators at UCF used multiphase detached-eddy CFD simulations of human sneezes to study what physiological factors affect airborne droplet transmission distance — work that fed directly into classroom and public-space mitigation guidance.
